The Gallery welcomed in the New Year with our first reception of the
season and an overflow of guests. Guest Artist, Barbara Porzio's
watercolors were the center of attention. Featured member artist, Kristi Rosende
exhibited her miniature "Desktop Destinations" series of
landscapes, and gallery member Vivian Vetor impressed the crowd
with her unusual reverse glass paintings.

About the Gallery's Guest Artist
Barbara Porzio
" Barbara, a "Horse Fever" artist, lives in Summerfield,
and is mainly a watercolor artist. She also does murals in private
homes. She is a member of the Ocala Art Group, the Leesburg Art
Association, and the Florida Watercolor Society. Her work is often on
display in Lake County public buildings and the Lakeside Inn in Mt.
Dora. |

Reception ... December 2005
There was no reception in December so the Gallery
East members
celebrated privately with a potluck dinner and plenty of
festive
conversation. A good time was had by all.
