The Gallery welcomed the collective photo exhibit of the North Central Florida Photography Club. Members of the club came from far and wide to share their unusual and vivid talents for this month's
show.

Most of the exhibiting members were in attendance to meet and greet the great turnout of interested patrons. They spent
the evening answering questions about
their strikingly beautiful images and unusual photography techniques.

Great conversations of photographic
interest took place at June's Reception.

IN MEMORY OF DORIS JONES - 1915 TO 2006

Gallery members, friends and patrons paid tribute at June's reception, to our founding member, Doris Jones.

Doris, at the creative age of 90 (almost 91) was still our reception greeter, faithful to attend all events, had recently returned from Europe, and danced at a relative's wedding the weekend before this reception. She was truly missed by all.

In memory of Doris Jones, memorial photos of Doris and many pieces of her fine art are currently on display in the Gallery.

Doris' grand daughter, and family representative Christina Roccos, came from New York to attend the reception and meet the Gallery members. We enjoyed meeting her, sharing stories and signing the memory book that she will take to Doris' family in New York.

Gallery East will feature the fine art and watercolors of Doris E. Jones during the month of August. This member artist exhibit will contain many watercolors and other media pieces of Doris' that have never been shown.
